Chapter · 01
The artist & the sound
Born Okai Tettey-Antie Samuel in Accra, Ghana, he has spent years developing a style that merges lyrical depth, cultural influence, and contemporary urban production.
Raised in Accra and influenced by both structured musical environments and everyday life experiences, Ahn-TiYe developed an early appreciation for performance, rhythm, and storytelling. Over time, those influences evolved into a sound that draws from African identity while remaining accessible to global audiences.
His artistic direction reflects a balance between expressive lyricism and modern sonic experimentation — creating records that move fluidly across genres while maintaining a recognizable identity.
